獨裁者樂團（The Dictator)一支只存在於1997~1998年在當時受到市場極度看好的傳奇地下樂團，因故從樂壇消失無蹤... 2018年的今天娃娃接到一通來自老家父親死訊電話，男友麥可發現了娃娃父親正是獨裁者樂團的成員。麥可也是玩樂團的年輕人，想利用獨裁者的舊作重新翻唱參加熱音比賽，而計畫重新發行獨裁者樂團1998年錄製作品的唱片公司總裁-萬子，以成名機會利用麥可向娃娃取得獨裁者樂團的原始錄音母帶，卻在過程中發現當年父親所屬的獨裁者樂團解散的原因並不尋常... 一個從未發片的傳奇樂團，一群沒有明天的番薯仔囝，搖滾世代在堅持與妥協兩難之下，獨裁者的真相永遠與官方說法不一樣。

Synopsis

The Dictator is a legendary underground band that was active in the 1997~1998 era. The music industry gave it a high expectation. However, the band mysteriously disappeared.

Fast forward to 2018, Wawa received a shocking phone call that her father passed away. Wawa’s boyfriend, Michael found out that Wawa’s father was member of the Dictator. Michael is also a rocker that active in the band scene. He wish to cover the Dictator’s repertoire to enter Battle of Bands. In the meantime, CEO of a record label, Wantzi, is planning to re-publish the Dictator’s 1998 recording. Wantzi lures Michael to obtain the master tape of Dictator’s recording from Wawa with opportunity of fame. In the process, Wawa unearthed dark secrets of why the Dictator disbanded.
